ISPM 15 treatment

The new International Standards set by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) for Phytosanitary Measures no. 15 describes that wooden packaging material needs to be treated to ensure that the risk of a plague in the international trade sector is kept as low as possible.

The Heat Treatment (HT) technique is suitable to treat Wood Packaging Material (WPM) according to ISPM15 exporting requirements. Without ISPM15 treatment, WPM cannot be exported to numerous countries in the EU as well as Japan, China, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, Canada and the United States of America. The number of countries that require ISPM15 treatment for goods that enter their country is increasing.

EcO2 can built a HT chamber at your location, or your timber can be delivered at one of your facilities, such as Binh Duong in Vietnam, and retrieved the next day. The wood is then marked with the required certificates and can easily be transported globally.
